In an unusual decision in Northern NYC earlier today, the Review Me NYC committee seemed to indicate an interest in nominating an Easter Egg Hunt by the Inwood Church of Inwood Manhattan for the Best Community Outreach Pia. No one from the committee was available for comment.

Alex Corrado is the Platinum Pias Awards host each year at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Screening Room. And for 2012 Alex himself has been nominated for a Pia in the Best Viral Video category.
At the time of this writing his video had already been viewed over 49,000 times!

The Platinum Pias Awards have been described as the Oscars of Success Oriented Education. This is because the Platinum Pias team works closely with NYC AIM (New York City Institute of Media).
Some of the nominees are professionals in fields including entertainment, beauty and education. The awards are presented both to NYC AIM interns and apprentices in conjunction with Lights, Camera Read – as well as their mentors.
