About the Platinum Pias Community Awards Show for ArtisticPreneurs

The Platinum PIAs Community Awards Show for ArtisticPreneurs is an annual awards show that was established in 2010 and has in its title the acronym PIA or P-I-A which stands for “Promote Internet Artists.” The phrase “Promote Internet Artists” is a part of the mission of the Platinum PIAs which is:

To Promote Internet Artists of all kinds – including musicians, writers, filmmakers etc. – who are making a difference in their communities both locally and around the world.

Why public internet artists? Because these ArtisticPreneurs are the most visible and therefore can make the biggest impact for the good of society. But you do not necessarily have to be a celebrity to win a Platinum PIA. Both emerging and established artists are considered for nomination. To nominate a creative, contact us with links to web pages that you feel demonstrate how the person you are nominating is PIA worthy. Each year the Platinum PIAs ceremony is held in New York City in either March or April and is sometimes done live with an invited audience, while on other occasions is an online-only event.

The judging of the winner is done by subscribers to the Platinum PIAs approved weekly email newsletter now known as ArtisticPreneur. The ArtisticPreneur Newsletter not only updates the reader on PIAs news as the event looms closer, but also provides weekly tips for ArtisticPreneurs on how to promote yourself, build your audience and monetize your creativity in conjunction with your career as ArtisticPreneur. When you are sending a PIAs nomination you can also join the newsletter by mentioning in your email that you would also like to be subscribed to the ArtisticPreneur Newsletter and understand that your email address will be added to an email list so that you can receive emails weekly. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time and will not be added to the email list unless you clearly state wanting to be so in your nominations email.
